Six Bachelor in Elementary Education and two Bachelor in Secondary Education graduates out of ten alumni from last year’s Teacher Education Program of SPCIS passed the September 16, 2010 Licensure Examination for Teachers, thus having a passing rage of 80%.

The BEED Program got a 75% passing rate with the following passers: Ma. Jesusa Managad, Raidelle Orteza, Evaflor Panggayan, Luthgard Angeli Riotoc, Michael Riputola and Diana Rose Valdez.

On the other hand, the BSE Program achieved 100% passing rate with the following passers: Mary Joy Aubrey Alarca and Aiza Mercado.

The LET results were announced last November 16, 2010.  In the national perspective, there are 7, 737 new licensed elementary teachers out of 39, 508 examinees (19.58%) and 9,493 new licensed secondary teachers out of 36, 714 examinees (25.86%).

“I am very happy with the LET results because our school’s passing rate is significantly higher than the National passing rate,” Mrs. Irma Manglinong, the AB-Ed Program Head said.
