After months of anxiety and stress, the school received an early Christmas gift…

May 31, 2005 marked a significant episode in the history of St. Paul College of Ilocos Sur, High School Department as it received its Level II Status of Reaccreditation granted by the Philippine Accrediting Association of School, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU).  After a period of five years, the High School Department once again takes the limelight as PAASCU granted another Level II Re-Accredited Status, December 13, 2010.

Likewise, the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) also acknowledged the department for having satisfactorily met the standards and fulfilled all the requirements of the PAASCU in accordance with memorandum Order number 32, Series of 2006 of the Department of Education (DepEd).

It can be remembered that last September 6-7, 2010, the High School Department went through a series of preparations as the PAASCU paid a visit for the re-accreditation.  The department was evaluated in nine areas, namely: Philosophy and Objectives; Faculty; Curriculum and Instruction; Library; Laboratories; Physical Plant; Student Services; Administration; and School and Community.

Accreditors conducted interviews with the administrators, teachers, CBS officers, students, and several individuals from the community.  Actual evaluations of classes were also done, where accreditors sat-in during class hours.

The certification of re-accreditation is valid until November 2015.
